Below China's labor cost, we get a share from China's clothing export orders.

According to China Textile Economic Net, as India's second largest industry to create jobs, India's clothing industry now provides employment opportunities for some 7 million Indians.

US demand growth supports India's clothing exports.

In June 2011, clothing exports in India increased by 42% over the same period last year, the same year in February.

Gain

Twice as much.

According to the global market survey published by the financial times, the total imports of clothing from Bangladesh increased by 39% in the beginning of this year. The total imports of clothing from Kampuchea, Salvatore and Honduras increased by 31%, 23% and 19% respectively.

Bangladesh has become the fastest growing country for clothing exports to the United States.

It is understood that in 2010, clothing from these countries became the cheapest clothing in the US market.

Source of supply

According to the May data released by the General Administration of customs, China's exports to the US textile and clothing industry continued to decline.

In May, China exported $20 billion 338 million worth of textiles and clothing to the United States, an increase of 23.77% over the same period last year, an increase of 12.86 percentage points lower than that in April, an increase of 2.33% over the corresponding period, an increase of 17.62 percentage points lower than that in April.

Hu Min, director of the clothing department of the China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, said that under the background of the debt crisis in the US and Europe, China's textile exports to major countries are still growing, but the growth rate is showing a downward trend, and the export growth rate of Southeast Asian countries has accelerated significantly.

She also pointed out that in the US clothing market, 6 of the 10 garments were made in China, but now there are only two or three.

Guo Yan, a professor at Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, said in a media interview that compared with China, the export of textile products in Southeast Asia has increased rapidly, but the scale is relatively small.

For example, in the US market, China's textile exports account for about 20-30%, while the total market volume of other Southeast Asian countries is less than 10%.

Although the export growth rate of Chinese textile enterprises has declined, it is the volume price increase.

The pfer to Southeast Asian countries is low-end products, while mid-range products are still retained in China.

With regard to the future breakthrough of China's clothing exports, industry experts say that China's textile industry should occupy the high-end market, adjust its structure and achieve technological innovation, and do well at the same time.
