EU Warns Consumers About A Brand Name Glove Made In China
In May 19, 2008, the European Commission's non food quick warning system (RAPEX) issued a consumer warning to China's "Shengtai Tools" brand gloves.
The case is Spain.
The glove code is 8410603120173.
Because the chrome content in the glove reaches 8.8mg/kg (the highest limit of EU is 3mg/kg), chromium is a toxic and carcinogenic chemical substance. Long time exposure can cause dermatitis or chemical poisoning.
At present, the Spanish authorities have ordered the gloves to withdraw from the market.
Therefore, it is suggested that domestic production and export enterprises attach great importance to this.
