Kampuchea Gets Textile Raw Materials, And 7 Factories Return To Work.

The Ministry of labour of Kampuchea said recently that textile materials in mainland China have arrived in Cambodia, and 7 factories are now applying for resumption of production. Due to the lack of raw materials, about more than 50 factories in the country applied for suspension in 2-3 months, resulting in 20940 workers losing their jobs, 16183 of whom were women. The arrival of textile raw materials will solve the problem of lack of raw materials in some factories and restore the production mode.

Premier Hong Sen announced on the 9 th that mainland China has prepared 7 ships to transport textile raw materials to Kampuchea factory to help Kampuchea solve the problem of shortage of raw materials due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic. The Facebook page of the Chinese Embassy in Kampuchea also announced that China is rapidly taking action to help solve the shortage of Cambodian textile materials and help the Cambodian side to minimize losses.
