China Leather Association Attends The Second World Leather Conference

In September 8, 2015,

Milan convened the second world leather Congress (World Leather Congress).

The conference was hosted by the international leather Committee (ICT), Italy.

(UNIC) with the theme of "the development trend and future challenges of the world leather industry", more than 300 representatives from more than 20 countries and regions including Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Turkey, South Africa, the United States, Mexico, China, Taiwan, China and Hongkong were invited to participate.

Su Chaoying, chairman of the China Leather Association, Chen Zhanguang, deputy secretary general, and Bai Zhixiang, chairman of the mainland Association of tanneries and leather workers, attended the meeting.

The conference is divided into three parts, namely, the introduction of the international leather industry organization, the introduction of the main leather production industry and the keynote speech.

At the meeting, the United States, Italy, Brazil, China, China, Taiwan, Turkey, South Africa, Germany, the United Kingdom, Portugal and other countries and regions introduced their respective leather industries.

At the meeting, Chen Zhanguang, Deputy Secretary General of China Leather Association, introduced the latest development of China's leather and footwear industry, as well as the development opportunities and challenges.

China is a big leather country in the world and occupies an important position in the international leather industry.

The development status and development expectations have also received great attention from the delegates.

The conference lasted for one day. A total of 18 delegates from 11 countries made important introductions and keynote speeches. Apart from the exchange of industrial development, representatives from 7 advisory bodies, such as consulting and research institutions, FAO and Italy famous institutions, also made brilliant speeches on topics such as raw materials, technology, chemical industry and trade market.

It is reported that the third world leather conference will be held in Shanghai, China in 2017.
