Representatives from nearly 100 garment enterprises from all over the country attended the meeting.

Ge Chuanbing, director of the national clothing quality supervision and Inspection Center (Tianjin), introduced the focus of the current quality problems of clothing in China to Ge Chuanbing. He said, "with the improvement of living standards, fabric composition, formaldehyde content, pH value and tag logo are the focus of consumer attention. Although the overall quality level of our garment industry has made remarkable progress, there are still some clothing enterprises that do not understand the standard of clothing and have low quality awareness."

It has authorized 275 items, 547 domestic and foreign standards, and the annual testing capacity has reached 100 thousand inspection reports.
